And here I sit,
spurting words that do not explain,
nor do they convey,
but merely embody the plight.
Each clashing formation of letters struggling with itself.
Each sylable so violent it assaults itself,
tearing asunder
before even reaching
a nearby
patient
ear.

poem--- missing you
i look around
what can i say
it's not what i want
not what my mind can see
what i long for is the steady beat
beat of Life
i used to give
not this beat of existence
this meager survival
but a whole different feel
a beat You once heard
a beat You once held
a beat You once made
a beat i now miss
now that it's gone
my heart is lone
yearning not for company
only for what it had
just for what it needs
that simple Completion
what can i say
it's not what i want
not what my mind can see
what i long for is the steady beat
beat of Life
i used to give
not this beat of existence
this meager survival
but a whole different feel
a beat You once heard
a beat You once held
a beat You once made
a beat i now miss
now that it's gone
my heart is lone
yearning not for company
only for what it had
just for what it needs
that simple Completion

poem--- sitting tight
What is my life
-but a tunnel so long
And how do I capture it
-to tell tomorrows young
Yet what is a poem
-but a mangling of a song
And where do I find such words
-but springing from the tongue
-but a tunnel so long
And how do I capture it
-to tell tomorrows young
Yet what is a poem
-but a mangling of a song
And where do I find such words
-but springing from the tongue

poem--- kiss
And when it comes down to this.
Its just you and me.
And when it comes to the kiss.
There's no place I'd rather be.
Its just you and me.
And when it comes to the kiss.
There's no place I'd rather be.
poem--- curse
Is this my wish-
or merely my curse?
Dreaming feels so good.
Yet it hurts much worse
Now here I lay-
or more so sit,
and long to remember.
Though I wish to forget
It may be a lie,
but I know you would stay.
If I could now think
or only just say:
Something simple-
far, far from poetic,
it has to be fun
but not quite romantic.
or merely my curse?
Dreaming feels so good.
Yet it hurts much worse
Now here I lay-
or more so sit,
and long to remember.
Though I wish to forget
It may be a lie,
but I know you would stay.
If I could now think
or only just say:
Something simple-
far, far from poetic,
it has to be fun
but not quite romantic.
poem--- hope
This,
my wish
your curse
Burns,
my heart
not yours
You
have gone
left me
I,
do hope
and long
That,
you know
and come
When,
I think
these words
If,
I could
just find
Hope,
for us
for me
my wish
your curse
Burns,
my heart
not yours
You
have gone
left me
I,
do hope
and long
That,
you know
and come
When,
I think
these words
If,
I could
just find
Hope,
for us
for me
poem--- forget
Am I right to wish?
Is it wrong to want?
I can't forget the past-
But I need to move on.
Is it wrong to want?
I can't forget the past-
But I need to move on.

quote---discontent
"To be truly lonesome is not to be without company, but rather stranded within discontent for the the company currently held." -Joseph Paul Lohman III

poem---dawn
I walked endlessly on,
For what seemed like years;
I thought all was gone,
Crying with deaf ears;
I can see the dawn,
Trapped between mirrors;
I my soul will pawn,
Waiting for your tears...
For what seemed like years;
I thought all was gone,
Crying with deaf ears;
I can see the dawn,
Trapped between mirrors;
I my soul will pawn,
Waiting for your tears...

poem---commonality
I can see what lies inside
Horrible things you wish to hide
I find them in my reflection too
Secrets I can't share with you
Horrible things you wish to hide
I find them in my reflection too
Secrets I can't share with you

poem--- corazón
Listen; listen
Hear the shallow heart beat
Faster; faster
In this raging heat
Harder; harder
My shallow heart does beat
Closer; closer
Our two hearts should meet
Hear the shallow heart beat
Faster; faster
In this raging heat
Harder; harder
My shallow heart does beat
Closer; closer
Our two hearts should meet

poem--- it's part of me
And is this it?
Can this be all?
Silently screaming-
Torn in two
I need to wait-
Wait this out;
It's going to end;
Soon... right?
Just help me--
Just help.
Thats all.
All I really need
But now I look.
I look,
And I see-
It's all so very clear
I can't forget,
But I just-
just won't remember.
All that pain
It clings to me;
Burrowing in.
Inseparable.
It's part of me
Will there be...
A new arrival-
A new part-
My completion?
Pain must flee;
Flushed out-
Replaced
From now on
Love sits in
But will...
Will it stay?
(Please stay)
Yet there's more-
Love fights love;
for that part.
Can both be?
One from the past-
Yet I can't see
If it's wrong.
Or my future
And is this it?
Can this be all?
Silently screaming-
Torn in two...
Can this be all?
Silently screaming-
Torn in two
I need to wait-
Wait this out;
It's going to end;
Soon... right?
Just help me--
Just help.
Thats all.

poem--- strawberries
Is this beginning the birth of me?
Or merely a pass through death?
There are many things I wish I could see
That are hidden by my breath.
I Want to venture all round the world
But I'm chained forever here
From this cage I wish I were hurled
But I'm locked in by my fear.
You stand outside with eyes of gold
And shining heart to match
But as I look in, I behold
A gaze I cannot catch.
But I observe and remember
A forgotten time untold
When fueled by love's lone ember
Your being i would hold.
Now you turn and walk away
Giving your hair a toss
How I wish you would please stay
My fear replaced with loss.
Or merely a pass through death?
There are many things I wish I could see
That are hidden by my breath.
I Want to venture all round the world
But I'm chained forever here
From this cage I wish I were hurled
But I'm locked in by my fear.
You stand outside with eyes of gold
And shining heart to match
But as I look in, I behold
A gaze I cannot catch.
But I observe and remember
A forgotten time untold
When fueled by love's lone ember
Your being i would hold.
Now you turn and walk away
Giving your hair a toss
How I wish you would please stay
My fear replaced with loss.

poem--- peachy
Why can't he just get a grip?
His life will continue to slip.
Now with friends at his side,
Why must he incessantly hide?
His life will continue to slip.
Now with friends at his side,
Why must he incessantly hide?
poem--- get a grip
Rapids disrupt my calm flow of life,
Changing tides cause me much strife;
Now a boat torn to desolate shreds,
I'm a spinning wheel without any treads;
Watch as we continue to stare and fawn,
God grant that this river may crawl on;
Lost within infinite gaps and spaces,
I can't remember all of the faces.
Changing tides cause me much strife;
Now a boat torn to desolate shreds,
I'm a spinning wheel without any treads;
Watch as we continue to stare and fawn,
God grant that this river may crawl on;
Lost within infinite gaps and spaces,
I can't remember all of the faces.

poem--- feign
Approach me,
Dictate your pain;
Reproach me,
Insults like rain;
Please don't lie,
Your interest so feign;
Hate must die,
Let's kill my pain.
Dictate your pain;
Reproach me,
Insults like rain;
Please don't lie,
Your interest so feign;
Hate must die,
Let's kill my pain.

poem--- forgive me father
In the name of God,
They repent their sin;
With their kin unshod,
How can they grin?
They repent their sin;
With their kin unshod,
How can they grin?

poem--- crash and burn
Watch me crash and burn,
Come on it's your turn,
Because as I learn,
For you I do yearn.
Come on it's your turn,
Because as I learn,
For you I do yearn.
poem--- knight
Faithful knight, defending his land,
Shallow goals, they shall guide his hand.
Question him, fake and flawless knight-
Question him, in his heinous fight.
Shallow goals, they shall guide his hand.
Question him, fake and flawless knight-
Question him, in his heinous fight.

poem--- road
Twisting and turning, this road leads me on-
Over the edge I pray I do not fall.
On this rotting road, I wake every dawn-
I'm not sure I want to follow at all.
Over the edge I pray I do not fall.
On this rotting road, I wake every dawn-
I'm not sure I want to follow at all.
