poem--- curse

Is this my wish-
or merely my curse?
Dreaming feels so good.
Yet it hurts much worse

Now here I lay-
or more so sit,
and long to remember.
Though I wish to forget

It may be a lie,
but I know you would stay.
If I could now think
or only just say:

Something simple-
far, far from poetic,
it has to be fun
but not quite romantic.

poem--- hope

This,
my wish
your curse

Burns,
my heart
not yours

You
have gone
left me

I,
do hope
and long

That,
you know
and come

When,
I think
these words

If,
I could
just find

Hope,
for us
for me

poem--- forget

Am I right to wish?
Is it wrong to want?
I can't forget the past-
But I need to move on.

quote---discontent

"To be truly lonesome is not to be without company, but rather stranded within discontent for the the company currently held." -Joseph Paul Lohman III

poem---dawn

I walked endlessly on,
For what seemed like years;
I thought all was gone,
Crying with deaf ears;
I can see the dawn,
Trapped between mirrors;
I my soul will pawn,
Waiting for your tears...

poem---commonality

I can see what lies inside
Horrible things you wish to hide
I find them in my reflection too
Secrets I can't share with you

poem--- corazón

Listen; listen
Hear the shallow heart beat
Faster; faster
In this raging heat
Harder; harder
My shallow heart does beat
Closer; closer
Our two hearts should meet
