poem--- curse

Is this my wish-
or merely my curse?
Dreaming feels so good.
Yet it hurts much worse

Now here I lay-
or more so sit,
and long to remember.
Though I wish to forget

It may be a lie,
but I know you would stay.
If I could now think
or only just say:

Something simple-
far, far from poetic,
it has to be fun
but not quite romantic.

I thought all was gone,
Crying with deaf ears;

I my soul will pawn,

I find them in my reflection too
